Broadstripe MI, WA & OR Acquired by WOW! and Wave Broadband - Jan 13, 2012

Wave Broadband and WOW! Internet, Cable and Phone announced today that their purchase of Broadstripe MI, WA & OR has been completed. Broadstripe operations will continue without disruption as the acquired systems are transitioned to their new providers over the course of the coming months.

Current Broadstripe customers don't need to be concerned about any immediate changes to their services, billing statements or contact phone numbers. WOW! and Wave are both committed to providing Broadstripe customers with the smoothest transition possible, with detailed communication well in advance of any changes.

BROADSTRIPE MICHIGAN CABLE CUSTOMER NOTICE - Dec 15, 2011

Effective 1/24/12 the following stations will no longer be available. WLAJ-TV on cable channel 17 on cable lineups serving Marshall, Albion, Homer, Parma, Union City and Athens and on cable channel 3 serving Portland, Pewamo and Hubbardston. WWMT-TV on cable channel 3 in Charlotte, Olivet, Bellevue, Concord, Hanover and Horton and on cable channel 17 serving Wacousta, Lake Odessa, Sunfield, Mulliken, Westphalia and Eagle.

The 2012 retransmission consent agreement does not provide for carriage of these stations in our systems outside of their primary designated market area or DMA. These are duplicate network affiliates and customers will continue to have access to network programming from their in-market station.
